The BBC has announced it will soon begin airing live Esports coverage via BBC Three.
The station made the announcement via Twitter over the weekend.

Despite being on the BBC, the coverage won’t be accessible via normal television methods — BBC Three went online-only last year. The channel is accessible via its own website or the BBC’s iPlayer service.
Already, BBC Three has signed up the Gfinity Elite League, focusing on Rocket League, Street Fighter V and Counter-Strike: Global Offensive. Each game will get its own day of airtime — Street Fighter V at 9.00 pm local time on Fridays, Counter-Strike from 9.00 pm Saturdays and Rocket League from 5.00 pm on Sundays.
Action is available from this week.
