Rainbow Six Pro League detailed through until 2020

Ubisoft has detailed its plans for the Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Pro League from now until 2020.

The League will be comprised of two six-month seasons, taking place between June to November and December to May. Each season fill feature a finale whereby the top two teams from each region — Asia Pacific, Europe, Latin America and North America — will compete for a prize pool totalling more than $300,000 AUD.

The first season begins June 2018; there will be a season of transition that runs between March to May 2018 until then.

Moreover, each year will now feature two Majors. The Six Invitational, held in February, will now be joined by a Six Major tournament in August. The first is the Six Paris Major, scheduled for August 2018. It will offer up a $400,000 AUD prize pool.

Amateur players can also compete in the Rainbow Six Go4, an online community tournament that begins 29 January.

Rainbow Six: Siege is now available on Windows PC, Xbox One and PS4.
