Rainbow Six PC Pro League Six Major Paris detailed

The Rainbow Six PC Pro League will celebrate Season 8 with the Six Major Paris in August, Ubisoft today detailed.

Six Major Paris is “the first edition of a new annual Major event in addition to the Six Invitational”, taking place between 13-19 August in Paris, France.

Sixteen teams will take part in the tournament, including already announced teams PENTA Sports (Europe), Team Liquid (Brazil; pictured above), FaZe Clan (Brazil), Evil Geniuses (USA), NORA-Rengo (Japan), Millenium (France) and Australia’s own Fnatic.

The remaining spots will be filled through the following events:

  • Open Qualifiers: there will be 6 slots instead of 5 as PENTA Sports (Europe) won both the Six Invitational 2018 and qualified for the Pro League Season 7 Finals. Based on the results during these Season 7 Finals in Atlantic City, the fifth and sixth open qualifiers slots will be attributed to Latin-America and Europe.
  • The winner of Dreamhack Valencia, at the latest Dreamhack ahead of the Major.
  • The winner of the French Cup, the Final Stage of which will take place on June 23-24 in Paris.

Rainbow Six: Siege is available now on Windows PC, Xbox One and PS4.
