Oceanic Nationals starts mid-September, partners with LIVIN

The Rainbow Six Siege Oceanic Nationals will start in mid-September, pitting the eight best teams in the Oceanic region against one another over seven days of play.

The teams competing to be crowned the Oceanic Nationals champion are:

  • Wildcard
  • OkamiLFO
  • Pittsburgh Knights
  • Melon Cat
  • LFO
  • Team Ferox
  • Elevate
  • Kanga Esports

The Oceanic Nationals will take place each Wednesday and Friday evening from 7.00 pm AEST, with playoffs taking place between 16-18 October. A full schedule is as follows:

  • Playday #1 – Wednesday, September 16
  • Playday #2 – Friday, September 18
  • Playday #3 – Wednesday, September 23
  • Playday #4 – Friday, September 25
  • Playday #5 – Wednesday, September 30
  • Playday #6 – Friday, October 2
  • Playday #7 – Wednesday, October 7
  • Playoffs – Friday, October 16 – Sunday, October 18

Ubisoft Australia also advised that it will partner with Aussie mental health awareness organisation, LIVIN, in order to “help fight the stigma of mental health issues”.

“Ubisoft Australia and Rainbow Six Siege Esports is proud to partner with LIVIN for the Oceanic Nationals to help promote the importance of mental health,” said Edward Fong, Managing Director of Ubisoft Australia.

“We are inspired by LIVIN’s programs and vision to break the stigma around mental health within schools, workplaces and communities, and are proud to be able to share the message that ‘It Ain’t Weak To Speak’ to the Rainbow Six Siege community.”

Rainbow Six Siege is currently available on Windows PC, Xbox One and PS4.
