Mindfreak bows out of the Six Invitational 2018 with top 8 finish

Australian Rainbow Six: Siege Invitational 2018 team, Mindfreak, has been eliminated from competition after making the tournament’s top 8.

A contender in the Group B pool, Mindfreak lost its first match against Rogue 0-2, bouncing back to defeat ROOM FACTORY 2-1. Mindfreak then secured a quarter finals berth by defeating Brazil’s Team Liquid 2-1.

Up against the Black Dragons, winners of seasons 1 & 3 of the Latin American Pro League, Mindfreak was sadly shutdown 2-0. While eliminated from the competition, Mindfreak’s exciting run has earned them a spot in the tournament’s top 8.

The Six Invitational is conclude tomorrow, with finals action taking place at Tohu, Montreal. European team PENTA Sports is up against the North American defending champions, Evil Geniuses, for a share of the tournament’s $500,000 USD prize pool. Stay tuned from more on the
