Local CS:GO tourneys provide path to IEM Sydney 2019

Two Sydney-based Counter Strike: Global Offensive (CS:GO) tournaments will provide the chance to secure one of two spots in IEM Sydney 2019, ESL has today confirmed.

Of the two spots, one will be awarded to the winner of the AU & NZ CS:GO Championship which takes place next week on 14 April. The second will be go to the winner of the IEM Sydney Derby on 18 April. Of those playing, it’s predicted the likes of Grayhound Gaming, ORDER or the Chiefs will nab the two positions.

The two local teams will join a pool of 16 CS:GO teams from around the world, all duking it out at IEM Sydney 2019 between 3-5 May.

IEM Sydney 2019 takes place over 3-5 May at Sydney’s Qudos Bank Arena.
