Injustice 2 gets gold, silver-tinted tournament shaders; proceeds support Esports, community events

Special gold tinted Tournament Skins are now on sale inside Injustice 2, developer NetherRealm confirmed.

The skins are designed for Esports tournament and community event play, so much so that proceeds from the skins’ sale will go to support such events.

You can take a closer look at the skins below.

The skins mean the game today requires an (approximate) 1.3GB update, at least on Xbox One. The skins themselves will set players back a whopping 5,000 Source Crystals per character; a Silver-tinted version is also available at the same cost. 5,000 Source Crystals equates to around $5.00 AUD. It’s unclear how much of that goes to the aforementioned Esports and community event support.

Injustice 2 is currently available on Xbox One and PS4. The title’s next fighter is none other than Teen Titan Starfire.
