Fortnite Battle Royale competitive season details coming soon

Fornite Battle Royale will offer a celebrity tournament ahead of its first season of competitive play, Epic Games has confirmed.

The Fortnite Celebrity Pro-Am will pair 50 celebrities and 50 pro players at E3 2018, “pairing some of the world’s greatest athletes and entertainers with top Fortnite Battle Royale players from across the globe.”

It’s unclear if Drake will pair up with Ninja again to smash Twitch records, as the pair did last night.

Epic also said that details of the game’s first competitive season will be shared in the coming weeks, alongside a special event called “Party Royale”. We’ll have more information on that as it becomes available.

In other news, those who signed up for Fortnite on iOS have started receiving invitations to the game today — check those inboxes!

Fornite: Battle Royale is available now on Windows PC, Xbox One, PS4 and iOS and heads to Android soon.
