Australia’s own League of Legends reality show accepting applications now

Australia’s about to get its own League of Legends reality TV series.

Titled The Next Gamer, the YouTube series is sponsored by Intel and looks to form a LoL Esports team. The ultimate victor will receive $10,000 AUD and a six month contract to play with the LG Dire Wolves.

Forty contestants will battle it out over 5 days to try to nab one of ten spots in a Sydney-based gaming house, undergoing daily challenges that will “will test their mental fortitude, physical fitness, and teamwork,” the show’s website declares. A live finale will place the winning Next Gamer team against the LG Dire Wolves.

If you think you’ve got what it takes to compete on The Next Gamer, you can apply right here. Successful applicants must be 18 years of age or older and available to play an online qualifier between 12-16 August. Finalists must be available to film between 19 August and 6 September in Sydney.
