ESL prohibits YouPorn from sponsoring Esports team

VentureBeat today reports that the ESL has banned adult site YouPorn from sponsoring a pro gamer squad.

The ESL says the sponsorship is against an ESL rule that prohibits sponsors “widely known for pornographic … or other adult/mature themes and products.”

YouPorn attempted to make concessions to keep their sponsorship, but to no avail.

The adult site has been sponsoring Team YP since 2014.
