Escape Dead Island announced for PC, last-gen consoles

Today, Deep Silver announced Escape Dead Island for Windows PC, Xbox 360 and PS3.

Deep Silver describes the title as a “survival-mystery game with a fresh perspective on the Dead Island universe,” bridging the events between both Dead Island and Riptide.

The game will delve into the origins of the virus that has turned humans into zombies as well.

Escape Dead Island is expected later in the year.
