Elder Scrolls Online, Doom Eternal next-gen releases confirmed

Elder Scrolls Online and Doom Eternal next-gen releases have been confirmed for both Xbox Series X and PS5. Moreover, Bethesda has confirmed that those who own the games on current-gen platforms will get a corresponding free upgrade to next-gen.

“We’ll have more information to share in the coming weeks and months about The Elder Scrolls Online and DOOM Eternal on Xbox Series X and PlayStation 5 including expected release windows and a list of enhancements,” a Bethesda representative confirmed with Stevivor.

Bethesda also asserted that “we are committed to offer free upgrades for current generation console owners of existing Bethesda titles we bring forward into the next generation of consoles,” though no additional announcements were made today.

We’ll have more on next-gen release date and feature information on both Elder Scrolls Online and Doom Eternal as it’s made available.
