Get excited!
Bandai Namco and FromSoftware today announced Elden Ring Nightreign, a standalone, co-op action survival game heading to PC and consoles in 2025.
The announcement was a surprise, especially considering FromSoftware recently (lied?) to players saying that a sequel to Elden Ring wasn’t in the works. Technically, this isn’t a sequel… but that’s still pretty tricky of FromSoftware.
Take a look at what to expect below.
“Three players can team up and take their chosen Nightfarers to battle against new terrors, and explore ever-changing maps to defeat increasingly challenging bosses and ultimately take on the Nightlord,” Bandai Namco revealed in a press release.
“Teaming up in squads of three – or daring to go solo – they must outlast a three day-and-night cycle, making split decisions about combat and exploration across changing maps to become strong enough to take down terrifying bosses at the end of each day.”
Expect Elden Ring Nightreign in 2025 on Windows PC, Xbox One, Xbox Series S, Xbox Series X, PS4, and PS5.
