Eight minute Pokémon-centric Nintendo Direct planned for this week

An eight minute Pokémon-centric Nintendo Direct will air early Wednesday morning, Nintendo recently confirmed.

The Direct will be held at 12.01 am AEST on 7 June.

It’s unclear what will be revealed during the Direct — especially this close to E3 — but fans are hopeful for the oft-rumoured Pokémon Stars, an accompaniment to Sun and Moon. Recently, Pokémon Go‘s Niantic confirmed that the mobile title will receive PvP and Legendary Pokémon, so it could be a reinforcement of that news.

Regardless, you can watch the Direct above, and keep it locked to Stevivor for the news as it happens.

Nintendo’s full E3 2017 press conference takes place at 2.00 am AEST on 14 June.
