EB Games defends its Nintendo NX pre-order scheme

EB Games has released a statement to MCV Pacific over their Nintendo NX pre-order scheme.

The Nintendo NX was only announced by Nintendo this week, and despite knowing nothing else about the new hardware, EB Games is already allowing for pre-orders.

“Following the announcement Wednesday night, EB Games made the ‘NX’ available for pre-order the next day,” a spokesperson said. “At EB Games we have a very loyal Nintendo fan base, many of whom love the opportunity to put their names down first for new products.

”As long as that demand exists, we will continue to give fans what they want and be at the forefront of gaming announcements.”

Pre-orders are being taken as expressions of interest already, and gamers are required to put down at least a $10 AUD deposit.
