EB Games Australia puts its 80 Final Fantasy XV Ultimate Collector’s Editions up for lottery to Level 4 loyalty members

Bad news, Final Fantasy XV Australian fans — you’re probably not going to get an Ultimate Collector’s Edition.

EB Games Australia emailed its user base last night and advised they’d only have 80 units of the ultra-rare edition to sell.

“EB Games Australia only has 80 units of Final Fantasy XV Ultimate Collector’s Edition,” the email read. “With such an extremely low quantity available, our current presells far exceed the units available.

“In order to allocate these units, EB Games will be giving EB World Level 4 members with a valid Final Fantasy preorder (as of midnight tonight) [last night, 31 March] the opportunity to enter a random draw to secure the option to upgrade their preorder.”

“Winners” of the draw will be contacted by EB by close of business on 5 April to upgrade their preorder.

This high-pressure sale comes before confirmation by JB Hi-Fi as to how many units they’ll have for sale.
