EB Games Australia goes cashless from today

EB Games Australia will accept cashless payments only from today, ceasing its trade-ins and reboot service as well.

“With everything going on at the moment, we’ve had to make some temporary changes,” a statement to customers reads.

“Starting tomorrow all trade-ins, cash payments and reboot services have been temporarily suspended. We will continue to accept card and contactless payment methods. Current trade deals on upcoming titles will be honoured once trade-ins resume.”

In the USA, GameStop has closed all stores, accepting online orders and also offering pickup from the front door of its retail establishments. We’d recommend EB Games customers take the same approach — order physical games online wherever possible and stay at home to help reduce the curve of the coronavirus pandemic.
