EA Play E3 2020 replacement scheduled for 12 June in Australia

Update: The event has been delayed by a week. Learn more here.

Original story: An EA Play E3 2020 replacement, coinciding with Summer Game Fest, will take place on 12 June here in Australia, EA confirmed overnight.

The digital-only livestream is scheduled for 9.00 am AEST on 12 June (or 7pm EST, 11 June) and while not much is known as yet, we expect to hear more on titles like 2021’s Battlefield alongside EA Sports’ yearly entries including FIFA, Madden NFL and NHL.

Giving the timing of the event, it’s also likely we’ll receive news on EA’s intentions for next-gen consoles in the form of the Xbox Series X and PS5.

We’ll have more on EA Play 2020 as news becomes available. In the meantime, what are you hoping for?
