EA planning a series of tie-in items for Battlefield 4

EA confirmed today that they’ve planned a series of tie-in media and accessories for Battlefield 4, including a novel and an art book.

The Battlefield 4 novel is titled “Battlefield 4: Countdown to War,” written by Peter Grimsdale and published by Orion. Grimsdale also co-wrote the Battlefield 3 tie-in novel, “The Russian.” “Countdown to War” will be released on Amazon from 24 October.

Additionally, Titan Books is also publishing “The Art of Battlefield 4,” which EA described as a “high-end art book.”

Other Battlefield 4 soon to be on offer include accessories from Razer, PDP, Qpad, Jinx and Walls360.

Battlefield 4 will be released on 29 October for PC, Xbox 360 and PS3. It will also be on next-gen consoles at their respective launches.
