EA has mysterious “Captain-Crunch” game classified as M in Australia

Now, don’t for a second think that EA has made a Cap’N Crunch game, but they certainly have submitted a game codenamed “Captain-Crunch” to the Australian Classification Board. And it’s been rated M.

The AusVGClassifications Twitter account picked up on the classification this morning.

You can read the ACB report here.

“Captain-Crunch” features “war themes and violence,” with moderate impact themes and violence coupled with mild impact language and drug use.

EA has not yet submitted Titanfall or Battlefield 4 for classification in Australia, so “Captain-Crunch” might be either of those games… or something altogether different. Twitter user CannonFodderJnr has suggested it’s the next Command & Conquer game… and so far, we think he’s right.

We’ve asked EA Australia for comment on the matter.
