EA fixing FIFA 16’s Ultimate Team chemistry problem

EA has taken to the FIFA forums to declare that its confirmed the Ultimate Team glitch detailed by Redditors last week.

“Our work has shown that there appear to be some differences in how fitness and chemistry apply to some [Ultimate Team] items,” FIFA‘s Community Manager advised. “The differences appear to be the same for all FUT fans, but only applying to some FUT items, so we’re making some changes to ensure the attributes are being applied consistently across all items in the game.”

The inconsistencies meant that higher-rated player cards actually performed worse than lower-tier cards that were benefiting from a chemistry boost.

There’s no timeframe on the patch, but it will be deployed for all versions of FIFA 16 — Windows PC, Xbox 360, Xbox One, PS3 and PS4.
