Dying Light’s digital release delayed until Friday on Xbox One

Those in Australia who hoped to grab Dying Light today on Xbox One found they’ll have to wait an extra two days instead.

The official Dying Light Facebook page shed some light (pun half-assedly intended) on the subject only five hours ago, well into the game’s originally scheduled 28 January release date.

“We have just been abruptly informed that on Xbox One Dying Light will have a digital release of January 29th in France, Belgium, The Netherlands and Luxemburg and January 30th in Australia and New Zealand, UK and other international markets,” the post reads. “All digital PlayStation 4 releases are scheduled for January 28th.”

While we’ve yet to see review code, rest assured that YouTube’s PewDiePie says the game is “sooo awesome”.

And here’s proof:

Has anyone started the game on PS4 yet? If so, tell us what you think.
