Dying Light The Beast delayed to 19 September

More time is needed "to allow for extra polishing".

Dying Light The Beast has been delayed to 19 September, Techland has recently announced.

“It has always been our goal to make Dying Light: The Beast the best Dying Light game we’ve ever released,” Techland said in a press release. “To honor this promise, we’ve made the decision to move the release date to September 19, 2025 to allow for extra polishing work.”

The studio adds that it understands the move may be “disappointing”, but that “our experience has shown how important the first impression is”.

Dying Light The Beast was originally scheduled for an August release, meaning we’ll need to wait four extra weeks.

Originally conceived as DLC, those who own Dying Light 2 Ultimate Edition will receive The Beast for free.

Dying Light The Beast heads to Windows PC, Xbox Series S, Xbox Series X, and PS5 on 19 September.
