Dying Light 2 story DLC delayed until September 2022

Techland has apologised for the delay.

Dying Light 2 story DLC has been delayed from mid-2022 to September 2022, developer Techland has today announced.

The content needs more time for polishing, Techland advised.

“We need a bit more time to develop the first story DLC, which is now planned to be released in September,” Techland said in a statement.

“We apologize for the delay, but we firmly believe that our community, fans, and gamers deserve to receive some truly unforgettable experiences. We want the first major story DLC to meet your expectations by giving it the absolute highest level of polish.”

While players wait for the DLC, they can take heart that a June update will introduce new content, events and a photo mode. A New Game+ mode was added earlier this year.

Dying Light 2 is available on Windows PC, Xbox One, Xbox Series S, Xbox Series X, PS4 and PS5. We reviewed the title here.
