Dragon Quest XI heads to the west in 2018

Dragon Quest XI: Echoes of an Elusive Age will head to the west next year, Square Enix today confirmed.

The latest in the popular series “follows the adventure of a hero who must solve the mystery of his fate with the aid of a charming cast of supporting characters,” according to the publisher. It features character art by Akira Toriyama and music by composer Koichi Sugiyama.

Series creator Yuji Horii features in a video announcing the news above. Horii-san also introduces an overview of the game.

More on Dragon Quest XI: Echoes of an Elusive Age will be detailed later this year. The game is planned for a 2018 release; platforms have not yet been detailed.
