Dragon Age: Inquisition to have Mass Effect 3-like Kinect voice commands on Xbox

BioWare confirmed that Dragon Age: Inquisition will feature Kinect voice controls similar to those in Mass Effect 3.

The voice commands will be featured in the Xbox 360 and Xbox One versions of the game.

“We’re expecting that Xbox 360 and Xbox One editions will ship with a Kinect-enabled voice command feature, just like Mass Effect 3 did,” Creative Director Mike Laidlaw said in interview with OXM.

SmartGlass is also on the cards, according to Producer Cameron Lee. “It needs to make sense, of course. But we want Inquisition to be an experience you can take with you everywhere – to work, the commute home, the living room, bed,” he said.

Dragon Age: Inquisition will be available for PC, PS3, PS4, Xbox 360 and Xbox One this spring.
