Doom: Free update, double XP weekend, next premium DLC detailed

Bethesda today details Doom‘s next free update and batch of premium DLC.

The free update goes live tomorrow, 29 July, and is detailed in the following video:

The game will also boast a double XP weekend beginning 30 July here in Australia.

Moveover, the game’s first premium DLC pack, “Unto the Evil”, will be available from 5 August. Priced at $15.00 USD and $23.95 $23.95 AUD on Xbox One and PS4, it sports the following:

Three new multiplayer maps: Offering, Cataclysm, and Ritual

  • A new player-controlled demon: Harvester
  • A new weapon: UAC EMG Pistol
  • New equipment: Kinetic Mine
  • New ways to customize your Doom Marine, including additional armor sets, patterns, colors, and taunts
  • New hack modules
