Doom: Back in action on Mars

Today at Bethesda’s E3 press conference, the publisher detailed Doom.

Based on a core consisting of “bad-ass demons, big effin’ guns” and speed, Bethesda showed off a beautiful trailer consisting of a lot of blood, guts and guns.

And beheadings. And people getting their hearts pulled out, or legs shot off…

You get the picture.

From the footage, players with have plethora shotguns at their disposal in addition future tech. The protagonist made full advantage of an expert-suit that provided a boost jump ability.

In one sequence, the protagonist pulled off a dead corpse’s arm in order to use its handprint on a locked door.

Doom‘s famous chainsaw also made a bloody and brutal appearance.

We hope to see more of the game at E3.
