Dontnod’s Vampyr delayed into 2018

Vampyr has been delayed from November 2017 into 2018, developer Dontnod today announced.

The game will be delayed as the developer does not want to “compromise quality,” it announced. Dontnod said the extra time will be used for a “polishing and balancing phase” ahead of release.

Set in 1918 London, the RPG places you in the shoes of Dr. Jonathan Reid, a newly-born vampire. The game’s about managing his conscience as a surgeon as well as his newfound need to feed.

First announced in 2015, we saw more of Vampyr during this year’s E3.

Vampyr is now expected in autumn 2018 on Windows PC, PS4 and Xbox One.
