The Division 2’s first Raid is for 8-players, comes later this month

The Division 2‘s first Raid — and the first 8-player Raid in the franchise’s history — will kick off later this month.

Operation Dark Hours will launch on 25 April, developer Massive recently advised. From the trailer, below, the Raid looks to take place at an airport and, as Massive detailed, will take the skills and co-ordination of all 8 agents who choose to tackle it together.

Before the Raid, we’ll get a new Black Tusk stronghold, new weapons including Exotics the Pestilence and Nemesis, gear, a new PvP map called Fort McNair and more through 5 April’s Title Update 2: Tidal Basin.

Massive also teased the game’s fourth new specialisation, though “teased” is the right word — we don’t know exactly when to expect that content.

The Division 2 is currently available on Windows PC, Xbox One and PS4.
