The Division 2 Daily & Weekly Projects disabled due to exploit

The Division 2 Daily and Weekly Projects have been disabled after a bug was discovered that lets players exploit them for rewards.

Developer Massive performed an emergency server restart earlier this morning, then explained to players that it was necessary “in order to fix an issue where daily and weekly projects could repeatedly award players with rewards.” Since the restart, Massive has disclosed that the restart didn’t actually fix the issue, hence the decision to disable Projects.

“We’re currently unable to fix the issue with the server restart, therefore we’re disabling the daily and weekly projects for the time being,” Massive later advised.

The Division 2 is also encountering a bug that impacts Signature Ammo, causing it to drop at significantly lower rates than intended. Massive has confirmed it’s investigating the issue, but a fix hasn’t been identified as yet.

Tom Clancy’s The Division 2 is currently available on Windows PC, Xbox One and PS4.
