Why touch grass when you can watch it grow on Twitch?

A local distributor is honouring Lawn Mowing Simulator.

Local distributor Five Star Games is celebrating lots of free ways to play Lawn Mowing Simulator by hosting a week-long Twitch livestream that’s all about grass growing.

Yep, you read that right — if you’ve got nothing better to do than watch grass grow… um, virtually… you can tune in for just that. Oh, and giveaways.

“In a world of constant notifications and fractured attention spans, watching grass grow may not be one of the most exhilarating undertakings in human history. But with human beings bouncing from pillar to post from dusk until dawn and beyond, the slow pace of Lawn Mowing Simulator and this special livestream should come as a welcome change for all who choose to partake,” said Five Star’s Darren Macbeth in a statement.

“If you’re a human being and finding yourself a little stressed out, tune into our grass growing livestream or pick up a copy of Lawn Mowing Simulator and let the good times grow.”

It’s insanely easy to get your hands on Lawn Mowing Simulator at the moment: it’s currently free on Windows PC via the Epic Games Store, or available to subscribers on Xbox or PC via Xbox Game Pass or PC Game Pass accordingly. If you’re on PlayStation, it’s also available to PlayStation Plus subscibers above the Essentials tier.

At any rate, the Twitch livestream will kick off at 9.00 am AEST on 1 August and run through the week. It’ll be available here. Or, you know, we’d suggest heading outside if you really want to watch grass grow. It’s nice out there.

Lawn Mowing Simulator is available on Windows PC via Steam and the Epic Games Store alongside Xbox One, Xbox Series S, Xbox Series X, PS4 and PS5.
