The Diversion: Kevin Durant plays as LeBron James in NBA 2K

Kevin Durant took home the title of Most Valuable Player in the NBA this year, but even that doesn’t stop him from playing as LeBron James in NBA 2K.

He confirmed as much on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon, after admitting it would be arrogant to play as himself.

“Who do you play as?” Fallon asked of Durant.

“Uh… anybody,” he replied.

“Just tell me,” Fallon persisted. “Who do you play as?”

Durant threw up his hands. “All right, LeBron.”

LeBron and Durant are only four players with an in-game ranking of over 90. James has a level of 99 and Durant has 95.

NBA 2K15 heads to PS3, PS4, Windows PC, Xbox 360 and Xbox One on 7 October.
