The Diversion: A ten-year-old Kirby cartoon predicted amiibo shortages

A Kirby cartoon circa 2004 predicted not only amiibo figures, but their worldwide shortage.

Shortages aren’t funny, are they? Alas, they appear to be always and forever.

Flash forward to today, and amiibo figures will soon compatible with the Wii U’s Kirby and the Rainbow Paintbrush.
