Hot Ryu: Capcom adopts the name for Street Fighter V’s former Battle Costume Ryu

Who said Capcom isn’t in touch with gamers today?

The publisher has recently officially adopted the name “Hot Ryu” in place of “Battle Costume Ryu”, a descriptor for one of the popular character’s costume sets. You know the one — it’s above.

The moniker has begun to make its way to official Street Fighter products.

Good ol’ licensing.

Hot Ryu currently features in Street Fighter V on Windows PC and PS4.
