Godiva’s limited run Animal Crossing collection could be a perfect Valentine’s Day gift

Say "I love you" and "remember lockdown?" with one gift!

A limited edition collaboration between chocolatier Godiva and Nintendo’s Animal Crossing could make for the perfect gift on Valentine’s Day, provided your gamer sweetheart doesn’t link the popular franchise with playing games in lockdown.

Starting 11 February, the “Godiva meets Animal Crossing” chocolate collection will be available at the retailer’s stores both online and in-person, with the retailer noting that, “available products may vary by store”.

“This collection features chocolates designed with characters from Animal Crossing, inspired by the 2026 Godiva Valentine’s theme of a ‘Tea Party’. It is a cute and charming chocolate collection that invites you to enjoy a sweet and delightful tea party moment: perfect for Valentine’s Day, a special occasion for sharing heartfelt feelings,” Godiva said about the limited-time collection.

The collection features the Tom Nook and Isabelle chocolates —  both are “a bittersweet dark chocolate filled with a ganache that blends rich dark chocolate and creamy sweet milk chocolate”. There are also Chrissy and Francine (both milk tea), Colton (jasmine tea), Merengue (strawberry), Raymond (lemon), and Tia (chai tea) chocolates accordingly. Moreover, there are shaped chocolates in the green leaf, pink heart, and white heart, all made from white chocolate. Finally, three wrapped chocolates have flavours of dark chocolate & cocoa ganache, milk chocolate & salted caramel ganache, and milk chocolate & black tea ganache.

All the chocolates above will be available in four collectible gift boxes, as follows:

  • $21.90 AUD: Godiva meets Animal Crossing Gift Tin (6 Pieces | 50g): This assortment features stylish packaging inspired by red tea canisters, decorated with Tom Nook and Isabelle. It contains six pieces of GODIVA’s original wrapped G Chocolat chocolates in three flavours: Milk chocolate, Black tea ganache and Cocoa ganache. All chocolates are wrapped in original Animal Crossing collaboration packaging.
  • $29.90 AUD: Godiva meets Animal Crossing Pink Assortment (6 Pieces | 61g): A limited-edition assortment of six chocolates, packaged in a vivid pink oval tin decorated with Animal Crossing characters shared across the chocolate designs.
  • $29.90 AUD: Godiva meets Animal Crossing Blue Assortment (6 Pieces | 61g): A limited-edition assortment of six chocolates, packaged in a vivid blue oval tin decorated with Animal Crossing characters shared across the chocolate designs.
  • $49.90 AUD: Godiva meets Animal Crossing Assortment (9 Pieces | 131g): A limited-edition assortment of nine chocolates, packaged in a vivid green round tin decorated with Animal Crossing characters shared across the chocolate designs.

The chocolates will be on sale from 11-15 February, or until stocks last.

Godiva cafes will also offer up special Animal Crossing-themed treats including strawberry ice cream ($9.90 AUD), a peach tart chocolixir ($9.50 AUD), and an apple earl grey tea crush ($9.50 AUD).

Animal Crossing New Horizons is available on both Switch and Switch 2; the Switch 2 version was made available last month.
