The first Sonic the Hedgehog movie poster is pure nightmare fuel

The first Sonic the Hedgehog movie poster was today released and fans are, well, terrified.

And by “terrified” we mean in pretty much every sense — that Sonic’s a mutated looking dude, that he’s oddly muscular, that the movie’s tagline makes little sense… and, ultimately, that these are all bad omens for the film itself.

What do you think of Sonic, above? Are you missing his gloves? His dumpy proportions? The fact that he used to look cute and not intimidating?
