Who needs FF7 Remake Part 2 when you can have this 5-game mobile title?

Final Fantasy 7 Ever Crisis sure is a choice.

Final Fantasy 7 Ever Crisis was today announced by Square Enix, a mobile game that retells the entirety of Final Fantasy 7‘s 5-game saga.

Calling it, “another possibility for a remake,” Square Enix today teased the title, a retelling of Final Fantasy 7, Crisis Core, Advent ChildrenDirge of Cerberus and Before Crisis: Final Fantasy 7.

You can check out Ever Crisis below. After you’ve done that, we ask you this: would you rather Square Enix spend time on this release or, you know, Final Fantasy 7 Remake Part 2? We’d prefer the latter.

Square Enix didn’t discuss Part 2 at all today during the PlayStation State of Play but did detail a PS5 upgrade to the first part of Final Fantasy 7 Remake. The current-gen version will offer upgraded visuals and a new episode featuring Yuffie.

Final Fantasy 7 Ever Crisis heads to iOS and Android devices in 2022.
