Doggo Operator considered for Rainbow Six Siege

A doggo Operator has been considered for Rainbow Six Siege, Ubisoft recently confirmed.

The admission comes from Siege Presentation Director, Alexander Karpazisin conversation with Wired.

“This is something that we’ve talked about for a while,” Karpazis said when asked if Siege would ever feature a canine Operator. “Our creative director always talks about a K9 unit.”

Sadly, it’s not to be… and for good reason.

“But to answer your question, I have to ask you a question. Are you okay with shooting a dog?”

Rainbow Six: Siege is available now on Windows PC, Xbox One and PS4 — and all of its human Operators are able to be shot at. You can watch Wired’s entire Q&A below.
