Australians, we’ve just been told we like Doctor Who the most out of LEGO Dimensions’ characters

Using results from a highly representative survey of 1,004 Australians*, Warner Bros. has decreed that we as a nation like Doctor Who the best out of any of the characters that will appear in the upcoming LEGO Dimensions.

Got that?

Via independent third-party research company Pure Profile, Australians have apparently voted the good Doctor as favourite character and “most interesting dinner guest”.

The Doctor beat out Homer Simpson and Superman in the “favourite character” poll.

Even though Batman is clearly the best superhero ever, both Superman and Wonder Woman garnered more votes than the Caped Crusader. Batman’s arch-nemesis, the Joker, proved better in the villains poll, taking top spot over the Wicked Witch of the West and Gollum.

To get a Scooby-Doo reference in, the dog detective polled third in the “characters that most remind us of our childhood” category, coming in behind Superman and Doctor Who.

We’ve no idea how many Australians were polled to collate the results, which clearly were sent to us to remind you all that franchises like Scooby-Doo, Lord of the Rings, Doctor Who, The Simpsons, DC Comics’ superheroes and more will appear inside LEGO Dimensions.

LEGO Dimensions will be available on Xbox 360, Xbox One, PS3, PS4 and the Wii U on 28 September.

*That’s about 0.0043652173913043% polled, just for the record.
