Disney & Marvel Games Showcase 2022 coming September

The Disney & Marvel Games Showcase 2022 will be presented in September and provide a look at a number of new video games.

Kicking off at 6.00 am AEST on Saturday, 10 September here in Australia (or 1.00 pm PT on 9 September for our friends across the pond), the presentation is part of Disney’s D23 Expo and will be available on YouTubeTwitter, and Facebook.

“The digital showcase will feature incredible new content from Disney & Pixar Games, Marvel Games, Lucasfilm Games, and 20th Century Games,” Disney said of the event, which also promises “all-new announcements” and looks at “titles including Disney Dreamlight ValleyMarvel’s Midnight Suns, and LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga, as well as a sneak peek at an upcoming Marvel ensemble game from Skydance New Media.”

The “ensemble game” from Skydance is former Uncharted series director Amy Hennig’s new studio, which has also been desscribed as a “a narrative-driven, blockbuster action-adventure game”. Skydance is also working on a Star Wars game for Disney and LucasFilm.

We’ll report back with the event’s big news pieces as they happen.
