Disney Infinity 3.0, characters from Star Wars, Avengers: Age of Ultron, Tron confirmed

Disney Interactive today confirmed that Disney Infinity 3.0 is indeed a thing.

Major leaks prior to this news appear to be genuine; Disney Infinity 3.0‘s Starter Pack truly will feature Anakin Skywalker and Ahsoka Tano from Star Wars. The Starter Pack has been priced at $99.95 AUD or $119.95 NZD.

Keeping with Star Wars, Infinity 3.0 will feature three themed Play Sets: one set in the timeline of Episodes I-III, the second set during the original trilogy, Episodes IV-VI, and the third available this Summer based on Star Wars: The Force Awakens.

Available Star Wars characters include Obi-Wan Kenobi, Yoda, Darth Maul, Luke Skywalker, Princess Leia Organa, Han Solo, Chewbacca and Darth Vader.

Additional Play Sets will by themed after the upcoming Inside Out, alongside a Marvel Play Set featuring Hulkbuster Iron Man, Ultron, and other Marvel characters.

Confirmed characters for the game also include Mickey and Minnie, Sam Flynn and Quorra from Tron: Legacy, Mulan and Frozen‘s Olaf.

Finally, a fully enhanced Toy Box will be included, with two new multiplayer Toy Box Expansion Games: Toy Box Speedway (kart racing) and Toy Box Takeover (action-adventure).

Figures and Power Discs from Disney Infinty 1.0 and 2.0 will work within 3.0‘s Toy Box.

Disney Infinity 3.0 is being developed by Avalanche Software in partnership with Ninja Theory, Sumo Digital, Studio Gobo and United Front Games. It will be released this winter on PS3, PS4, Xbox 360, Xbox One, Wii U, Windows PC, iOS and Android.
