Disney Infinity 2.0: Marvel Super Heroes announced by Marvel, Disney

This morning, Marvel and Disney announced that Disney Infinity 2.0: Marvel Super Heroes for iOS, PC, PS3, PS4, Wii U, Xbox 360 and Xbox One.

Written by Marvel Comics’ writer Brian Michael Bendis, the game will include both villians and super heroes.

In a YouTube stream announcing the title, we glimpsed heroes like Captain America, The Hulk, Black Widow, Hawkeye, Iron Man and Thor. Characters like Groot, Loki, MODOK, Rocket Raccoon, Nick Fury and Spider-Man have been teased in previous communications.

The game’s starter pack, much like the first Disney Infinity, will include three characters — Black Widow, Iron Man and Thor — together with two Toy Box Game Discs and an Avengers playset.

Previous Infinity characters, packs, and Toy Box creations will also be compatible with 2.0. Disney also confirmed that they’ll continue to release Disney characters and not simply focus on Marvel ones.

Disney Infinity 2.0: Marvel Super Heroes will be out this spring for iOS, PC, PlayStation 3, PS4, Wii U, Xbox 360 and Xbox One.
