DICE promises big changes to Star Wars Battlefront 2

DICE has taken to its blog to tease big changes heading to Star Wars Battlefront 2.

A “revamped progression system” based on player feedback is on its way, though DICE elected to keep quiet about what changes will be made. Players will have to wait until March to find out what’s changing.

February will see a new game mode called Jetpack Cargo. In it, two teams of eight will square off against one another, all equipped with jetpacks. The mode will be available in-game for a limited time.

Finally, a new season will be introduced, following the game’s now-completed first season. Alongside the news, DICE provided statistics on the first season, saying that 58% of players aligned with the villainous First Order over the Resistance.

Star Wars: Battlefront 2 is currently available on Windows PC, Xbox One and PS4.
