Diablo III on Switch: Blizzard has “nothing to announce”

Blizzard has dashed the hopes of Nintendo Switch players all around the world, stating it has “nothing to announce” when it comes to Diablo III on Switch.

It’s Blizzard’s fault, really — a recent tweet with a Diablo-themed nightlight and on-again, off-again light switch had people thinking it was a tease of something to come. Turns out, nope.

“We can assure you we’re not that clever,” a Blizzard rep has confirmed with Polygon. “[It was] meant to be a fun community engagement piece.

“We have nothing to announce.”

Sorry to be the bearer of bad news, Switch fans! The title is available now on Windows PC, Xbox One and PS4.
