Diablo 2 Resurrected closed technical alpha begins this weekend

Diablo 2 Resurrected closed technical alpha on PC will kick off later this week, Blizzard has recently announced.

Here in Australia, eligible users will be emailed access details this Friday for the closed alpha which begins at 12.01 am AEST this Saturday, 10 April. The alpha will conclude at 3.00 am AEST on 13 April.

Those selected from a pool of players who’ve pre-registered will be able to play as one of three classes — Sorceress, Barbarian and Amazon — across the first two Acts of the game in single-player action. There’s no level cap, meaning players can upgrade their characters to their heart’s content.

A separate multiplayer test will be offered up later in the year. For more, head here.

Diablo 2 Resurrected is planned for a 2021 release on Windows PC, Xbox One, Xbox Series S & X, PS4, PS5 and Switch.
