Devil May Cry 4 Special Edition: Playable Vergil, Legendary Dark Knight mode and more

Capcom today provided more details on the upcoming Devil May Cry 4 Special Edition.

Packed full of old Dante, you’ll also be able to play as his twin brother Vergil, “omplete with upgraded moves and graphics since his appearance in Devil May Cry 3: Dante’s Awakening Special Edition,” Capcom confirmed.

The game will also feature its Legendary Dark Knight Mode, first introduced in the PC release of Devil May Cry 4. In it, “players will now be able to take on the challenge of fighting hordes of enemies all at once, putting their stylish combat skills to the ultimate test,” Capcom said. “In this mode, enemies spawn in bigger numbers, and with more strength and vitality, allowing players more time to execute longer, more exciting combos.”

The title, upgraded to run at 1080p and 60fps on current-gen consoles, will be available this winter.
