Destiny’s “Taken King” expansion will level up Guardians so they can play its content

At Gamescom today, Bungie’s David ‘DeeJ’ Dague confirmed that Polygon that Destiny‘s “The Taken King” expansion will automatically level up Guardians to a point where they can take advantage of the new content.

Rather, ‘Deej’ said that the expansion will level a Guardian up to the point where it is “poised on the starting line of ‘The Taken King’.”

“The Taken King” will raise Destiny‘s level cap from level 34 to 40.

The expansion will be available on PS3, PS4, Xbox 360 and Xbox One from 15 September.
