Destiny’s Sleeper Simulant is now available

Last night, the second and final step of Destiny‘s Sleeper Simulant quest line became available.

Those that completed the first steps of the quest line found a new Fallen SABRE Strike available at 280 Light difficulty. Completing that Strike gives you the weapon’s frame, which can then be turned in to the Gunsmith for the weapon itself.

Destiny’s community is a bit divided on the new weapon, a heavy which decodes at 290 Light. It seems perfectly suited for some bosses and PvE, but with a small clip and long firing time, might prove too difficult to use on a regular basis. The community is also divided on the quest line itself — it seems that the Warsat events proved the most difficult piece of the puzzle in terms of getting the weapon.

Have you unlocked the Sleeper Simulant? If so, what do you think of it?
