Destiny’s final last-gen patch now available

Destiny has just been patched for the last time on PS3 and Xbox 360.

Apart from “emergency fixes for future game-breaking bugs”, developer Bungie has said this will be “the last scheduled deployment for Legacy Consoles,” a term is uses in place of last-gen.

On Xbox One and PS4, the same prepares the game for the upcoming “Rise of Iron” expansion, scheduled for 20 September.

Those on last-gen versions of Destiny have the opportunity to transfer their Guardians to the current-gen equivalent of the console they’re currently playing on — PS3 to PS4 or Xbox 360 to Xbox One. For more on that, head here.
